1. Who we are

DRM Services provides digital display management and related technology services. For personal information that DRM Services decides how and why to use, DRM Services acts as the data controller. You can contact us at info@drmservices.co.uk.

2. Information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with us, this may include your name, business or organisation, email address, telephone number, enquiry and support messages, account and user details, authentication and security records, subscription or billing-related records, screen/device identifiers, technical connection information such as IP address and browser/device information, and records of your use of relevant platform functions.

We may also process content or information that a business customer places into the platform. Where we process personal information solely on that customer's documented instructions, the customer may be the controller and DRM Services may act as its processor.

3. Why we use personal information

We use information where necessary to respond to enquiries; provide, administer and secure accounts and services; pair and operate managed screens; provide customer support; administer subscriptions, billing and service communications; prevent misuse and investigate security issues; maintain records; improve service reliability; and meet legal or regulatory obligations.

4. Our lawful bases

The lawful basis depends on the activity. We may process information because it is necessary to perform a contract or take steps at your request before entering one; because we have a legitimate interest in operating, securing and improving our business and services where those interests are not overridden by your rights; because we must comply with a legal obligation; or, where the law requires it, because you have given consent. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

5. Who we may share information with

We may use trusted service providers that help us operate hosting, infrastructure, email, security, support, payment or other business systems. We only share information where it is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose, where required by law, or in connection with professional advice, a business transfer or the protection of legal rights. We do not sell personal information.

If a provider processes personal information outside the UK, we will use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism where required.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing the service, maintaining appropriate business and security records, resolving disputes and meeting legal, accounting or regulatory requirements. Different categories of information may therefore have different retention periods.

7. Security

We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information, including access controls and account security measures. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so customers should also protect their credentials and use the security options available to them.

8. Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to be informed, access your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request erasure or restriction, object to certain processing, receive certain information in a portable format, and rights relating to certain automated decisions. Some rights are subject to legal conditions and exemptions.

To make a privacy request, contact info@drmservices.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained in our Cookie Policy. Optional analytics technologies are controlled by your cookie preference where applicable.

10. Questions and complaints

Please contact us first if you have a concern about how we use your information. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our services or legal obligations change. The current version will be published on this page with its update date.
